My Story

My name is John, and I've been a competitive swimmer in the UK for over 20 years, racing at every level from club galas and county championships to the British Championships. But some of my best memories didn't happen in a UK pool. They happened abroad, in unfamiliar cities, racing against people I'd never met, in environments that pushed me in ways a domestic competition never could. The camaraderie built on those trips, the shared challenge of doing it all somewhere new, is something I've never forgotten.

European Swim Meets was created to bring that exact experience to you.

Breaking the routine

In the UK, most swim clubs follow the same competition calendar year after year. The same meets, the same pools, the same faces on the start list. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's a whole world of competition waiting beyond it. European Swim Meets exists to break that cycle. Competing abroad challenges your swimmers in ways a domestic gala simply can't. New environments, different race-day protocols, unfamiliar competition standards. That's where real growth happens.
